Rye Carnival on the foreshore
An institution on the Mornington Peninsula, and a fixture of the summer holidays at Rye. Every Christmas the carnival rolls into Rye, providing fun for all the family from Boxing Day until just past Australia Day. The carnival is also open over the Easter break.
The 2011-12 carnival is now open and closes on Sunday 29 January. The Zorb and water slide are open 12-6 daily, and the carnival opens at 6pm. The carnival is closed on new year's eve, but will be reopen on 1 January.
